Fourteen inches sits at the collarbone. Body wave loses a little to the wave pattern, so expect it slightly shorter than stated. Wigs also arrive compressed from packaging — shake it out and let it hang before judging it.

Wash with a sulphate-free shampoo, condition through the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots, and air dry on a stand. Use a heat protectant and keep temperatures moderate. Handle the lace gently at the parting; it's finer than the cap and tears more easily. Store on a stand so the shape holds.
